The understanding eye sees the maker’s fingerprints. They are evident in every detail ... Leave Fingerprints.

DubhTale Woodcraft

That old saying of “it’s never too late to find your path” rings truer every day I go into my workshop. Designing and making are my passion, from spending hours in the lumber yard looking for that special piece of wood, to the first shaving from a freshly sharpened plane, through to seeing the idea in my head come to life, nothing is as wonderful to me as drawing out the beauty hidden in a piece of wood.

A little all about me…

It all started in a tattoo shop in Galway…. I was in the chair and my artist Seán was telling me he was going to be making his own guitar and watching Crimson Guitars on YouTube on how to do it. I watched one of their videos called the Nebula build and to say I was hooked would be a massive disservice to them. I was always interested in designing and making things from a young age but never really thought of it as something I’d be good enough at for a career. A little (huge) push from my Mum about applying to a fine furniture college in the west of Ireland and 4 years later I am running my own business.
